There are now 34 members from Historically-Black Colleges and Universities among the 371 inductees in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Marion Motley (Class of 1968) first attended South Carolina State College before transferring to the University of Nevada and was the second African American inducted into the hall behind Emlen Tunnell, Toledo (Class of 1967). Buck Buchanan (Class of 1990) was the first of the Grambling clan to enter the NFL and the last inductee Ken Riley, Florida A&M is in the 2023 Class.
